Alpha Post Tension, is a Grade 1 Specialized Post Tensioning & Structurual Strengthening, company established and registered in Ethiopia, Kenya, & Uganda by expertise with more than 25 years of combined extensive, knowledge and experience in the Middle East. Alpha is equipped and organized to undertake post-tension works including but not limited to Posttension slabs, beams, raft (mat foundation), Slab on grade, and transfer slabs. Alpha offers state-of-the-art design, supply, installation, and supervision of both bonded and unbonded posttension structures. Additionally, our second area of expertise lies in structural investigation, repair, & strengthening works using advanced materials and techniques. This allows us to effectively reinforce and rehabilitate existing structures, improving their loadbearing capacity, ductility, and seismic resilience. We specialize in using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) for structural strengthening, a high-strength, lightweight material that can be applied to various concrete and steel elements. Our column jacketing methods involve encasing columns with high-strength self-compacting concrete, effectively increasing their strength and ductility to withstand higher loads and seismic forces. By utilizing these methods, we can extend the service life of existing structures, saving on demolition and reconstruction costs while promoting sustainable building practices.
